A worked example
Say your widget handles 100 conversations in a month, and roughly a third of the questions in each are repeats already answered (free, via the semantic cache). That's roughly 250 billed answers — about ₹250 from the wallet that month, plus the ₹500 subscription if you're actively uploading or updating documents that period. Actual usage varies with conversation length and repeat-question rate.
Pricing FAQ
What happens if I go over 25 documents in a 30-day period?
The subscription cap resets every 30 days from activation. If you need to index more in a single period, top up early or wait for the next cycle — your existing indexed documents keep answering questions in the meantime.
Do I need both the subscription and the wallet?
Yes — the subscription covers ingestion (OCR, storage, embedding), and the wallet covers each answered message. Both need to be active for chat to work: the subscription gets your documents in, the wallet pays for replies.
What counts as a billed message?
A generated answer that used retrieval against your documents. Semantic-cache hits (a repeat question already answered), greetings, and simple acknowledgements are free.
Does the wallet balance expire?
No. Whatever you top up stays available until it's used — there's no monthly reset or forfeiture.
What happens when the wallet hits zero?
Chat replies pause until you top up. Nothing is billed beyond your balance, and everything resumes automatically the moment payment clears.
